Bergen County school delayed openings due to snow, ice for Monday (Dec. 15, 2025)
Bergen County school districts have begun announcing closures and delayed openings for Monday in response to a winter storm that has brought widespread snowfall totals ranging from 5 to 8 inches.
Thousands of homes and businesses remained without power Sunday night due to the gusty winds that followed the storm, creating difficult conditions for residents.
Dangerously low temperatures are expected Sunday night into Monday, increasing the risk of black ice on roads through Monday morning. Drivers are advised to exercise caution.
