Battlefield 6 & its RedSec battle royale will share career & battle pass progression
This week, Electronic Arts and Battlefield Studios revealed full details about the battle royale segment of Battlefield 6, known as RedSec. This new mode launched as a separate, free-to-play module of Battlefield 6, designed to complement the main game while featuring seamless cross progression.
Cross progression means that most of the progress you make in RedSec will carry over to Battlefield 6, and vice versa. This unified system ensures that players don’t have to unlock the same weapons or attachments twice, making the overall experience more rewarding and efficient.
In an article dedicated to explaining cross progression, Battlefield Studios outlined exactly what content and rewards will be shared between Battlefield 6 and RedSec. They emphasized that career rank, battle pass rewards, and a wide range of customization options will transfer seamlessly between both modes.
Here’s the official rundown of what will be shared across Battlefield 6 and RedSec:
– **Career Rank**
– **Hardware Unlocks:** Weapons, Gadgets, Throwables, Training Paths
– **Hardware Progression:** Attachments, Vehicle Loadout Items, Camos, Weapon Packages
– **Customization Items:** Soldiers, Soldier Skins, Camos, Charms, Decals, Player Profile Backgrounds, Icons, Dog Tags
– **Badges**
– **Battle Pass Progress**
With this cross progression system, players can enjoy both Battlefield 6 and RedSec without worrying about duplicating effort or progress, creating a more cohesive and enjoyable gameplay experience.
